IHC Hockey will be offering their Over Speed & Scoring School at the PPI Arena (formerly Center Ice) in Delmont from Monday, June 28 to Thursday, July 1 from 2 to 4pm. The Over Speed & Scoring School will work on power skating with an emphasis on quickness and breaking your “comfort zone”. In the Scoring segment, students will work on the technical aspects of all shots and goal scoring techniques such as cutting across the grain, the shooters illusion, shooting off the inside skate, shot placement, The “McDavid Move”, the “McKinnon Move”, the “Matthew shot”, and much much more. The school will also utilize special training equipment such as the “speed chutes”, “defenseman triangles”, weighted pucks, and the radar gun.
